The event will be held at 8:45 AM on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

Registration Cutoff

Registration cutoff is at 8:00 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025. After the cutoff you may register on the wait list (you will not be charged at this time).

Refund Policy

Player refund cutoff is 12:00 AM on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Refunds are subject to an $5.00 fee per player.

Notes from the Event Director

No check in required. Pairings for round 1 will be posted at 8:30am, all players must be in their seats by 8:45am for announcements. First round will start promptly at 9am. Players who are late for round 1 will be withdrawn from the tournament and will need to check in with a Judge or the TD upon arrival in order to be re-entered for the remaining rounds.

K-8 G/25;d5, NWSRS rated tournament. Qualifier for Washington State Elementary Chess Championship.

Reserve sections are ideal for first time players or casual tournament players.

Open sections are for advanced players or those looking for more challenging competition.

Reserve sections will be based on final rating the week of the event. Tournament organizers may adjust the ratings cutoff for the reserve sections at any time.

Players are welcome to compete in higher grade or open sections for added challenge.

A $5 fee will be charged for all refunds. There will be no refunds after March 15.

Generous number of trophies to top finishers. Team trophies will be awarded. All Kindergarten players receive a trophy.

Pizza and other concessions available on site. Proceeds help support the Lakeridge Chess Club
